  • Antibacterial Efficacy: Bamboo fiber contains "bamboo kun," a natural antibacterial agent that disrupts bacterial cell membranes. 99.0% against Staphylococcus aureus, 99.7% against Bacillus subtilis, 94.1% against Candida albicans.
  • Odor Reduction: 60% lower odor retention compared to cotton after 48 hours of wear.
  • Breathability: 3.5 times more breathable than cotton, thanks to its porous, oval-shaped fibers.
  • UV Protection: UV penetration rate is 0.6%, 41.7 times lower than cotton. It is often referred to as a "breathing fiber."

    Carbon Sequestration: Bamboo grows at a rapid rate, approximately 6 times faster than trees. Bamboo forests can sequester up to 12 tons of CO2 per hectare annually, while traditional forests typically capture between 3 to 5 tons of CO2 per hectare per year.
  • Degradation Time: Bamboo fiber naturally degrades in soil in about 6 months, making it highly biodegradable compared to synthetic fibers like polyester, which can take over 200 years to degrade.
  • Renewable Resource: Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants in the world, with certain varieties growing up to 91 cm (approximately 36 inches) per day and maturing within 3-5 years, regenerating without the need for replanting

Our Story

Our journey began with a legacy passed down through generations. From my grandmother's measuring tape to my mother’s sewing machine, we’ve always believe that "custom tailoring" isn’t just a skill—it’s a deep respect for the human body. In 2008, we expanded our craft globally. Then, in 2014, an overseas client introduced us to a "bamboo fiber" sample, but our lab revealed it was just disguised viscose. This discovery sparked ourcommitment to timeless comfort, leading us to OEKO-TEX® certified bambooviscose. At GYS, we’re not just creating sleepwear, we’re crafting a personalized experience that honors both the body and the spirit
